IPADE "Emerging Markets: Business Opportunities & Challenges" Short Term Exchange - Mexico City, Mexico

This short-term exchange course is offered through our exchange partner,  Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa (IPADE) and is taught at the IPADE campus in Mexico City, Mexico.  

Course Objectives

• Learn about the countries that are considered as Emerging Markets, the role that they all play in the actual globalized world, and their impact in the world’s economy.
• Enrich the interaction with other international and Mexican MBA students.
• Explore Mexico as an Emerging Market.
• Experience the Mexican culture.

This five-tiered course includes classroom lectures featuring two live case students from leading Mexican Enterprises, conferences with businessmen from different sectors, three corporate visits, team projects and cultural activities. 

Students will be nominated for this program on a competitive basis.  Only GWSB graduate students are eligible to participate in this short-term exchange.

Academic Credit

Students can earn 3 academic credits for successful participation in this program. 
Students must earn a B* or better in the course at IPADE in order to transfer the credit in. 

*Unless otherwise stated in the transfer credit policy of your GWSB program.


Program Dates: March 10, 2014 - March 14, 2014
Students should arrive by Sunday, March 9 and may depart on Saturday, March 15
