Program Description:

Israel: Information Systems, Development & Growth

Is this program for me? Microsoft

Within the last 60 years Israel has evolved from an agricultural based economy to a high-tech economy.  Israel is the world leader in water management, 3D printing and communications (just to name a few).  This course enables the students to explore not only the high-tech growth, but also the future potential and impact of the technology expansion within Israel and on the global economy. Students will meet with a diverse group of business organizations, from Microsoft to tech incubators. The trip is a fascinating way to research and study Israeli culture and business. The main objective is to provide a full picture of Israel as a “start-up nation” with a mix of relevant industry meetings and cultural tours.

This short-term study-abroad course will include site visits arranged by Israel & Co, a non-profit organization who works with U.S. business schools to arrange meetings with venture capital firms, startups, multinational corporations and business leaders in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa.  Learn more HERE.
