During our travel period in Georgia, students will experience first-hand Georgian culture of hospitality and generosity and meet with top politicians, business people, public affairs experts, journalists, and representatives of Georgia's vibrant civil society. The program will be developed in cooperation with the GSPM's partner, NGO Sector 3 -- Hub for Development, and Tbilisi universities.
What Will My Days Be Like in Tbilisi, Georgia?
Following is a sample itinerary for one day abroad:
9:30am-12:00pm: Visit to the Parliament of Georgia and the presidential office
12:30-2:00pm: Lunch with American Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, or similar organization
2:30-4:00pm: Meetings at the Tourism Administration of Georgia
4:30-6:00pm: Panel of political consultants and representatives of political parties
Evening: Dinner and activities on students' own
What Dates Are the Class and the Travel to Georgia?
Blackboard-Based Classes: May 15, 2023 - June 10, 2023 - Lectures, readings, and assignments will be made available on Blackboard. Due dates will be listed on the syllabus, and work can be completed at your own pace as long as deadlines are met.

How Much Will This Cost?
Tuition: $5,340 ($1,780/credit)*
Program Fee: $1,250
Travel Insurance: TBD
Flight: ~$1000 roundtrip
*The tuition is the same as all other Political Management courses. Through the generous donations of our Georgian partners, Center for Development and Democracy, Sector-3, and Endowment “ProDemos”, the funds have been applied to the program fee significantly decreasing the cost

NOTE: The listed fees are subject to change. The "Estimated Total on GW Bill" comprises the costs that will appear on the GW Student Accounts bill. All other expenses -- including airfare, non-group meals, non-group transportation, passport and visa fees, etc. -- will be sought out and paid by students directly and will not be billed through the university.
